Junior Trader
We import products from countries such as Thailand, China, South Africa, Chile, and America and have them shipped to the Netherlands by container. Once the goods arrive in Europe, we store them in an external storage facility. All the goods we import come in bulk packaging and are sold in the same way. We supply customers throughout Europe, including industries (companies that further process the products, such as muesli), bakeries, and private label packers (for supermarkets).
That is a diverse customer base, indeed. As a young and fast-growing company, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Trader to strengthen our team.
Key tasks of a trader include:
• Keeping existing customers satisfied.
• Finding new customers.
• Negotiating prices with suppliers and customers.
• Closing contracts and ensuring proper handling.
• Representing Maejor Nuts B.V. at international trade fairs (We exhibit at Anuga in Cologne and Sial in Paris ourselves but also visit various trade fairs).

• Fluent in English and Dutch: As a Trader at Maejor Nuts, it is important that you are fluent in both English and Dutch. You have excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Proactive: You are always a step ahead and actively contribute to the well-being of the company. You anticipate possible challenges and come up with innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills: You have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. You can easily build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
